The opaline diffuses the light softly and evenly, while the black rim reads as a clean graphic line when the fitting is unlit.

The half-moon form and strong black-and-white palette place it firmly in the 1970s Italian modernist idiom.

Origin: Italy (Murano)
Sourced in: Milan
Era: c.1970s
Materials: White opaline glass, black cased glass, metal mounts
Dimensions: 35cm across
Attribution: Unattributed; Murano by convention
Condition: Good vintage condition, consistent with age.
