Minimal Means

A curved rattan and bamboo wall shelf, the bent construction flowing in one continuous line from bracket to shelf — one of the best known of Franco Albini's organic designs for Vittorio Bonacina. The curve looks effortless and was anything but: shaping cane to this form was the particular skill of Bonacina's workshop. Attributed; sourced in the Veneto. Suits a hallway as a slim console, or a bedroom or study wall for display.
