The Primary Palette

A postmodern desk lamp by Veneta Lumi, made in Italy in the 1980s in the Memphis idiom made famous by Ettore Sottsass. Colour-blocked in primary hues — red shade, green arm, yellow stem, blue disc base — on an adjustable lacquered-steel frame, with both the arm and the height repositionable. A small, cheerful statement piece for a desk, shelf or console. Marked to the base.
