A mid-century Murano ceiling-mounted light fitting, the central lamp enclosed by two large blown-glass leaves and framed by a quatrefoil of twisted glass with brass mounts. Lit, the twisted elements catch and scatter the light; unlit, the piece reads as glass sculpture on the ceiling. Attributed to Barovier & Toso, the Venetian house working continuously since 1295. Sourced in the Veneto. At 90cm drop it suits a stairwell, entrance or the corner of a living room.
