Most of what I do now, I do remotely, for people all over — but some things still want doing in the room, or by hand. These two are those, and they're Melbourne-based: a day spent working a space out together, on site; and bringing a good piece back to life rather than replacing it.

A Design Day

Some rooms you simply have to stand in. If you're in Melbourne — or somewhere I happen to be — I'll come to you for a half or full day, and we'll work the space out together, in person: the layout, the light, what stays, what moves, what to look for and where it goes. It's the same eye as the remote work, just in the room with you, and it suits a whole house, an awkward space, or anyone who'd simply rather do it side by side.

You'll have my full attention for the day, and a short written summary afterwards — the plan we landed on, in order, with the pieces and suppliers noted — so nothing's lost once I've gone.
