A white Murano glass globe pendant by Venini, the manufacturer’s stamp preserved — the house that, from the 1930s onward, led the revival of Italy’s high-end glass industry. The 50cm spherical shade carries a swirling clear and gold ribbon pattern through the white glass, warming the light to a soft gold cast when lit and reading as a full moon by day, finished with brass details. The adjustable cord runs on a steel wire with a decorative clip and a brass canopy, and all parts are original. A significant piece of documented Venetian lighting, at a scale for a stairwell, entrance or dining table.
