The Hemisphere

A Space Age pendant by Harvey Guzzini, the Recanati lighting house that traded variously as Harveiluce and, from the late 1970s, iGuzzini — the firm behind some of the most distinctive Italian domestic lighting of the period. The Hemisphere, model 3087, pairs a clear perspex dome with a pale yellow diffuser and chromed metal fittings, producing an even, softened light. Designed by the iGuzzini internal technical office and produced between 1975 and 1982. Suits a kitchen, entrance hall, bedroom or study.
