The Sunburst Panel

A mid-century Italian magazine rack, hand-made in bent bamboo with a radiating sunburst rattan panel to each side. The sunburst weave is the detail that lifts it — decorative work applied to a working object, typical of Albini's approach. Attributed to Franco Albini; sourced in Milan. Holds magazines, records or newspapers beside a sofa or armchair.
