Roman Geometry

A 1970s sofa in natural bamboo, the frame built on a strong geometric design with a slatted base, attributed to Vivai del Sud — the Roman studio whose theatrical bamboo defined the glamorous Italian interior of the decade. The architectural frame is the event: rectilinear where most Italian bamboo of the period curves, which gives it an unusually contemporary presence. A custom-made cushion is available on request, in a fabric of your choosing. The most substantial piece of Vivai del Sud work in the collection.
