Faceted Sommerso

A superb sommerso ashtray-form bowl in faceted grey Murano glass, attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso. The faceting is the point: cut planes that turn the cased grey glass into something close to smoked crystal. Amazing quality in the hand.
