A sculptural pair of Italian Murano glass wall sconces from the 1960s, attributed to Antonio Lupi. The hand-blown glass elements diffuse the light softly across the wall, and the refined, restrained forms carry the quiet sophistication of mid-century Italian modernism, where light, material and form merge. Pairs of this type are increasingly hard to find together. Suits either side of a mirror or bed, a hallway, or a dining wall.
