Germany, Jasba Keramik footed bowl (1950s)

A handmade ceramic fruit bowl by Jasba Keramik, raised on three hollow legs. The piece is finished in the maker's signature drip glaze, with marbled tones of brown, cream and orange across a petal-form rim — a technique that produces a slightly different pattern on every piece. Jasba Keramik was established in the 1920s and continues to produce pottery today. The bowl measures 27.5 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height.
