A Basket of Gold Glass

A 1960s Murano flush mount, the hand-blown glass flowers in luminous gold tones with transparent inclusions, each bloom individually attached to a coordinating metal basket framework. Illuminated, the gold-infused glass produces a warm, honeyed glow; the flowers read as still-life when the light is off. Attributed to Seguso, one of Murano's great glassmaking dynasties. Fully functional and ready to install, as a flush ceiling fixture or a wall light.
