The Woven Silver Tray

An Italian vide-poche, or valet tray, in heavy Murano glass with a scalloped, ribbed border frame. The base is set with a 925 sterling silver overlay panel embossed in a woven basketweave pattern, applied by a registered Italian silversmith and marked in one corner. A refined catch-all for keys, rings, cufflinks or a watch on a hall table or dresser — equally good as a small serving or drinks tray.
