Travertine has been used to build everything from the Colosseum to the floors of mid-century Italian town halls. This is a coaster. We think that’s rather the point.

Cut from reclaimed Italian travertine, each piece carries the characteristic open holes and natural veining that make this stone so immediately recognisable. No two are alike — the tone, the holes, the surface finish vary from piece to piece depending on where in the original material it was cut from.

Ten centimetres square, with enough weight to stay put. Sold individually or as a set.
