Woven Light

A 1970s Italian pendant light in natural bamboo, the intricately woven structure forming a sculptural silhouette that reads as a work of craft with the light off and casts a warm, dappled, diffused glow with it on. The open weave softens and grounds the light rather than throwing it, which suits it particularly to evening rooms. A strong example of the organic strand of Italian mid-century lighting. Works above a dining table, in a reading corner, or as the focal point of an entry.

Dimensions: 38 cm diameter × 10 cm high; length of wooden drop is 80 cm as supplied. The linked suspension can be shortened by removing links at no cost prior to dispatch — confirm the required drop at time of order. Ceiling rose is 16 cm diameter.

Condition: Weave intact. Good vintage condition consistent with age.
