Hung by Its Own Chain

A round Italian rattan wall mirror, c.1960s, suspended from its original rattan hanging chain — intact, which is far from guaranteed at this age, and half the charm of the design. The frame carries a characterful aged patina that sits well against plaster or timber walls. At 55cm overall it works in a hallway, bedroom or powder room, where the chain lets it hang from a picture rail or hook without fixings through the frame.
