The Striped Variant

A 1970s Italian cocoon pendant in the round form, distinguished by subtle yellow striping through the resin — a variant produced in far smaller numbers than the standard honey-beige examples, in the manner of Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni's celebrated cocoon designs. The spun-resin surface traps and softens the light to the warm, even glow the technique is prized for, while the stripes give it a character plain cocoons lack. The canopy is original; the cable has been professionally replaced and checked by our electrician. Suits a bedroom, living room or stairwell.
