An Italian stool from the 1980s — a direct product of the postmodern moment that Milan exported to the world during that decade. The atomic shape places it squarely in the orbit of the Memphis movement: that short, brilliant period when Italian designers decided that furniture could be loud, irreverent, and entirely unapologetic about it.

The form is simple and considered — a low tripod wooden stool, well-proportioned and solid. It works as occasional seating, as a side table, or simply as an object that holds a corner with personality.

Crucially, this example retains its original painted surface — not repainted or restored, which is increasingly rare in pieces of this type.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Original hand-painted surface intact — not repainted.

Origin: Italy, c. 1980s Dimensions: H 37cm, W 30cm
