An Italian stool from the 1980s — a direct product of the postmodern moment that Milan exported to the world during that decade. The atomic shape places it squarely in the orbit of the Memphis movement: that short, brilliant period when Italian designers decided that furniture could be loud, irreverent, and entirely unapologetic about it.
