Postmodern Milan

An Italian stool from the 1980s: a low tripod form in solid timber, hand-painted in an atomic geometric pattern in the manner of the Memphis movement. The painted surface is original and unrestored, which is increasingly uncommon in pieces of this type and worth preserving. Solid enough for daily use as occasional seating or a side table, and confident enough to hold a corner on its own.
