The Grand Marble Dawn

The larger Aurora, on a tall base cut by hand from reclaimed Carrara marble. The stone comes from the same fountain as the Fontana candlestick and Aurora Piccola, a sculptural piece that stood in northern Italy for around sixty years. Grande comes with a round brass top and a brass stem in polished or aged brass, with a choice of two fabric cords.

At thirty centimetres of solid marble before the stem even starts, it is heavy and very stable. No two bases have the same veining. Put it on a console or a sideboard and let it hold that end of the room.
