Bamboo & Rattan, Sculptural
A wall-mounted coat rack in bamboo and rattan, in the light, sculptural Albini manner of the 1950s and 60s. A bamboo frame is bound with fine rattan wrapping at the joints, a serpentine rattan band undulates across the centre, and four looped hooks curl out from the corners to take coats, hats or towels. Two brass rings at the top to hang it on the wall.
In the manner of the bamboo work associated with Franco Albini and the Riviera makers.
