Bar Cart, Italian School

A round serving trolley in bamboo and rattan, two circular tiers carried on a cane-bound bamboo frame. The round format is less common than the rectangular trolleys of the period and sits more easily in a corner or beside a sofa, while the two tiers hold a respectable bar or double as display. Attributed to Bonacina, whose workshop set the standard for Italian cane furniture of the era. Works as a bar cart, side table or plant stand.
