Milk Glass Hen on Nest Covered Dish, Sourced in Italy, c.1950s–1960s
$85.00
The Hen
A white milk glass hen sitting on a basketweave nest. The lid lifts away to make a covered dish, and the moulding is crisp, with every feather and the woven rim clearly defined.
She was made for eggs and still does that best, but she’ll keep sugar cubes or sweets just as happily.
