The Rizzo Spiral

A wall-mounted coat hook designed by Willy Rizzo, Italy, 1970s: a square black backplate set with a black mirrored-glass panel, mounted with a polished chrome spiral hook that coils out from the plate, terminating in Rizzo's signature ball finials. Heavy and precisely made, it carries the glamorous chrome-and-black language that defined Rizzo's 1970s interiors.

Willy Rizzo (1928–2013), Naples-born and Paris-trained as a photographer before turning to furniture, produced some of the most recognisable Italian design of the decade. His chrome-and-mirror hall pieces are now sought by collectors. Offered as a single hook.
